Orofacial Myofunctional therapy is a neuromuscular re-education program that helps restore proper function to the muscles of the face, tongue, and airway. It supports healthy breathing, posture, chewing, swallowing, speech, and sleep. At OroGlow, we go beyond the basics to address the root causes of dysfunction and empower long lasting change. 

We provide specialized therapy for myofunctional disorders, feeding difficulties, swallowing problems (dysphagia), voice disorders, cognitive-communication challenges, and support for individuals with tracheostomies (PMV).

We are an out-of-network provider, which allows us to offer longer, more personalized sessions without insurance restrictions. We’re happy to provide Superbills for reimbursement, but we are completely hands off during this process. HSA/FSA cards are accepted.

Yes! We offer secure teletherapy for eligible clients. Many of our myofunctional therapy and speech sessions can be done effectively online, especially for older children, teens, and adults.

Every case is unique, and honestly is up to YOU, but most myofunctional therapy programs last up to 6 months, depending on consistency, goals, and complexity. We will continue to monitor and address symptoms for up to a year.

The initial evaluation includes

Treatment may be indicated before, during, or after orthodontics. OMT is recommended 4 weeks prior and immediately after to prevent relapse after the removal of braces.
