Therapy happens in sessions. Understanding happens everywhere else.

Some of the most useful airway conversations do not fit inside an appointment. They happen when someone finally hears their own experience described out loud, or asks the question they were embarrassed to ask, or realizes they are not the only one.

This is where those conversations live.

The Airway Hour

A FREE, Friday morning conversation about breathing, sleep, and the muscles that shape the face, helping demystify all things myofunctional therapy.

Airway issues are easy to miss and hard to ask about. A child who sleeps with their mouth open. An adult who wakes up exhausted after eight hours. Braces that shifted back the moment the retainer came out. Most people have been told these things are ‘normal’, or have simply never had anywhere to ask. Well, now you do!

The Airway Hour is that place. Every Friday at 10:00 AM CT, we go live on Instagram to talk through myofunctional therapy and all things airway — what tongue rest posture actually is, why nasal breathing matters, what a frenectomy does and doesn’t fix, and what the research does and doesn’t say. It’s a support group, not a sales pitch: real questions, plain-English answers, and a community of people navigating the same thing. Come with a question, or just listen in while you fold laundry.

Who this is for:

  • Parents of kids and teens — mouth breathing, snoring, restless sleep, picky eating, thumb sucking, speech concerns, or orthodontic relapse

  • Adults — snoring, jaw and TMJ tension, grinding, chronic fatigue, tongue tie, or teeth that shifted after years of ortho work

  • Anyone before or after a tongue-tie release — what pre- and post-op therapy involves and why it matters for the result

  • Referring professionals — dentists, orthodontists, ENTs, sleep clinicians, lactation consultants, and fellow SLPs who want a working understanding of myofunctional therapy

Join us live Fridays at 10:00 AM CT — @oroglowmyo on Instagram Live. Can’t make it live? Replays are saved, and you can send your questions to our DMs ahead of time and we’ll answer them on air.

Come as you are

You do not need a diagnosis to show up. You do not need the right vocabulary, or a list of questions, or any idea what myofunctional therapy even is. Curiosity is enough.

Some people listen for months before they ever say a word. Some come once, get the answer they needed, and go on with their lives. Both are fine.

And if it turns out you want something more personal than a live room, that door is open too.
